21st International Microscopy Congress

Our group was represented at one of the flagship microscopy events of the year—the 21st International Microscopy Congress (IMC21) in Liverpool, UK, which gathered around 2,500 delegates from across the global microscopy community.

Lukáš Koláčný gave an oral talk in the Nanomaterials and Catalysts session on "Double-Tilt Electron Tomography and HR-TEM for Quantifying Embedding and SMSI in Au/TiO₂ Raspberry-Colloid Inverse Opal Photocatalysts". The talk sparked inspiring discussions and provided useful insights for our ongoing workflows in advanced 3D electron tomography.

Alongside lectures by leading figures in the field and a vibrant commercial exhibition featuring the domestic #BrnoRegion initiative, the five-day event was a fantastic opportunity for international networking and exploring the rich industrial heritage of Liverpool and Manchester.
